Shelby is an up-and-coming writer who has been cultivating her view of the world since 1991. Growing up, she was what Emilie Wapnick calls a “multipotentialite.” She’s taken lessons in ballet, karate, piano, and theater. Her interests have always been varied, but there is one overarching theme: the desire to help people. She rediscovered writing in 2012, and has now participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for the last three years and attends a weekly workshop with PDXWriters. Her goal is to move and inspire young adults and teens to better themselves by letting them know that they are not alone.
